About our Patient Participation Group

To ensure we deliver the health service our patients want, Laurel Bank Surgery has a Patient Participation Group (PPG).  This is a group of patients who meet at the practice with Practice staff to discuss the services we provide, what improvements we could make, and share ideas on how to make these changes.

Everyone is welcome and all contributions are appreciated.  We do aim to make the PPG as representative of our practice population as possible in terms of age, gender, social group, ethnicity and ability and so would particularly like to hear from you if you are a student or if you feel you represent a minority or social group whose voice should be heard.   Please contact the Practice Manager for more details, or if you would like to join the group.

There are plenty of opportunities for PPG members to get together with patients from other surgeries across the locality, to share good practice and develop knowledge and skills.  These sessions are run by the NHS Leeds West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which this practice is a part of.
