Patient Triage

From Wednesday 1st December we are launching a new triage system to manage patient calls and requests to best meet the medical needs of our patients and to utilise the services we offer appropriately.

If you call the surgery to make an appointment our reception team will gather some information from you around the nature of your call in order to book you an appointment or signpost you to the most appropriate service.

Possible outcomes of the triage system include a same day or future clinical call back from one of our healthcare professionals, a face to face urgent or routine appointment, a text with advice or signposting to other services.
