Repeat prescriptions

You can request a repeat prescription personally at the surgery reception desk,  you can also email, post or fax your request to the surgery.  When using your repeat prescription form, please remember to tick the items you need on the right-hand section of the form.

You can also order repeat prescriptions online if you are registered with Emis Access (contact reception for details on how to register).  If you are already registered with Emis Access just click on the Repeat prescriptions box to the right.

Alternatively, you can register with Pharmacy2U and have your prescription delivered free of charge to your home or place of work.  For more information and to register online click on the link above, or pick up an information leaflet and registration form at the surgery.

If you order your prescription from the surgery it will be ready for collection within 48 working hours.  If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).  You can also have all your prescriptions sent electronically direct to a Pharmacy/Chemist of your choice, just let reception know your preference.

We are sorry, but we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone except from housebound patients.

We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly.  If the date for your next medication review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
